Captain Rob Nevius, a recreational fisherman his whole life, has been a full time professional guide in the Keys for 8 years. He has also spent extensive time guiding anglers throughout the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and the East Coast, from Miami to Maine. These experiences include working as both captain and mate on commercial, private, charter and tournament vessels.

Some of his notable catches include 37 Sailfish in one day, 4 Blue Marlin in one day and dozens of Giant Blue fin Tuna up to 680 lbs. Rob guides anglers, from beginners to professionals, and prides himself in being patient with first timers. His years as a Captain with the Boy Scouts of America make him an ideal guide for families with children. No matter what your experience, Rob can guide anyone to the catch of their lifetime.

The “Jerkwater” is a 26 ft center console Contender hull, powered by a 250 hp Yamaha outboard motor. It is fully equipped with a 35 gallon livewell, Northstar GPS chartplotter, color Furuno depthsounder, AM/FM CD, VHF radio, outriggers, downriggers, fighting belts and all safety equipment. The boat is very dry and has a cruising speed of 40 knots.

Top of the line Shimano tackle includes Tiagras, Trinidads, Calcuttas and Baitrunners mounted on custom rods. Line test is 8 lb to unlimited. Live bait, cut bait, chum, lures, plugs and all other terminal tackle included.
